Small Group Personal Trainer (Part-Time with Growth Opportunities)

Every hour our clients spend with us is designed to be the best part of their day—and we expect the same level of care, energy, and professionalism from our team.

We’ve grown into a stable, near-capacity small group personal training studio, and we’re looking to bring on the next coach to step into our schedule and contribute to that experience.

The Opportunity

This is a part-time coaching role with an established coaching schedule available immediately.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who can take on approximately 25+ hours per week, though there is flexibility depending on experience, availability, and fit.

You’ll be stepping into an active, established training environment—not building from scratch.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead small group personal training sessions (up to 6 clients)

  • Deliver safe, effective, and engaging coaching

  • Build relationships that drive long-term client success

  • Support onboarding and client retention

  • Contribute to programming and overall client experience

  • Assist with internal promotions and client engagement initiatives

Schedule & Growth

Coaching hours typically include a mix of:

  • Late mornings

  • Midday

  • Afternoon / evening blocks

  • Established private and duet clients (50% commission)

Schedules are built based on availability, experience, and studio needs.

There is also opportunity to grow hours through:

  • Private, duet training, nutrition coaching, online coaching and other specialty programs (50% commission)

  • Additional coaching shifts and admin tasks

Compensation & Development

  • Hourly coaching rate starts at $30+

  • Additional earning opportunities through private, duet, and specialty coaching (50% commission)

  • Ongoing education and professional development

  • We are continuing to grow and exploring future expansion opportunities, creating additional opportunities for coaches who want to build more hours and take on larger roles over time.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong communication and people skills

  • Experience in a client-facing or coaching role

  • Personal training certification (or in progress), relevant degree, or 1+ year experience

  • Passion for fitness and helping others

How We Train

RISE Fitness is a small group personal training studio. This means you will work with a
experienced coach every time you come in. No more wondering what to do, is this safe, or getting lost in the crowd.

In our Small Group Personal Training, you will get the attention and coaching you deserve in a fun supportive training environment. Think small dinner party with weights :).

We offer comprehensive program design that follows the latest evidence based training to help you get results safely and effectively.

Your session will start with a warm-up that includes flexibility, stability, and core exercises to make sure your are moving well and ready to work. Then we will transition you to light power training to keep your athletic movement strong.

The next section you transition to is the strength training component. Here we will focus on the foundational strength training exercises based on your abilities. Finally, we finish based on your goals higher intensity finisher.

Our training sessions last about 50 minutes so you can get in, get to work and back to living your life.

  • We Make It Easy: We do the thinking so you don't have to. Show up and work!

  • Small Groups: Don't get lost in the crowd again. We get to know you, your abilities, goals, and favorite super hero :)

  • Low Impact Training: Safe and effective training methods without beating up your joints or have you crawl out of the gym.

  • Coaching: Personal training in a fun and supportive environment.

  • Accountability: We help you keep "The Goal, The Goal"
